The Nigerian National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has confirmed the death of a female Libyan returnee identified as Towabola Adebayo.

A statement from the agency reads:
'With a heavy heart, we announce the death of a female returnee, from Ogun State, who was part of the 5th batch and has been on admission since their arrival on Monday 12. May Her Soul Rest in Peace'.

The deceased who hailed from Ogun State died after two days of medical treatment at the Universoty of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital on Wednesday 15th February 2018.
